Management Sciences for Health Launches The eManager

Management Sciences for Health announces the launch of its newest online publication, The eManager. This journal uses lessons, best practices, and evidence from the field to provide practical approaches, tools, and resources for people to solve everyday problems in public health. The eManager is designed to help managers develop and support the delivery of high-quality health services.

The editors welcome any comments, queries, or requests for online subscriptions.

The inaugural issue of The eManager is available from the HRH Global Resource Center. This issue discusses the importance of managers who not only lead but also coach individual staff members to help them improve their performance. The issue defines coaching, offers a tool for self-assessment of coaching skills and a coaching approach, and provides tips on how practitioners can improve their coaching.
