Scaling-up High Impact FP/MNCH Best Practices: Technical Meeting


 

A technical meeting will be convened from September 3-8, 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand, to disseminate high-impact family planning and maternal, neonatal, and child health best practices for scaling-up in the Asia and Near East region for achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

The meeting will bring together 300 to 600 participants from Ministries of Health, nongovernmental organizations, the private sector, international experts from USAID country missions, USAID Washington, USAID-funded cooperating agencies, United Nations agencies, and other bilateral and multilateral donors. It will present an opportunity for countries to share and learn from each others’ experiences and approaches and to introduce and apply best practices in their respective countries.
