Short Course on Managing Human Resources for Health
The School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales will be running a short course on Managing Human Resources for Health November 19-23 as part of its 2012 Summer School. The course will explore the particular challenges faced by health services in less developed countries in the Asia Pacific Region and comes in the wake of repeated requests from those countries for an intensive residential workshop that addresses their needs.
The course will be a combination of presentations of HRH issues and the related current work of the HRH Hub, and group discussions where participants share their problems and potential solutions. By the end of the course students will be aware of the most relevant and up-to-date approaches to managing human resources for health. [adapted from course announcement]
