The deadline for submission of abstracts is April 13, 2009, with full papers accepted until May 15. Selected submissions will be presented at a Special Topic Meeting of the ISI 2009 to be held in Durban, South Africa August 16-22, 2009.

The ISI 2009 Session theme, “Statistics: Our Past, Present and Future,” coincides with the meeting’s goal of promoting statistical discourse on measuring health workforce inequalities and the implications for policy and planning.
