Course on Achieving Millennium Development Goals
The World Bank Institute will be offering a course entitled, "Achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs): Poverty Reduction, Reproductive Health and Health Sector Reform" September 15-26 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The course will focus on the following themes:
- new policy directions: MDGs related to health and gender, and poverty reduction strategies;
- design and delivery of health services and programs; and
- health services and health sector reform.
The course will provide state-of-the-art knowledge and skills for key stakeholders to design and deliver more efficient, equitable, and financially sustainable health interventions in the context of health sector reforms and evolving international policies.
