New Platform for HIS Interaction with Launch of Global Health Information Network
A new platform has been launched to provide the opportunity for increased international Health Information System (HIS) interaction. The Global Health Information Network (TGHIN) is a website for health information professionals to engage in online discussion and share ideas and best practices with the goal of accelerating the effective HIS design and use.
THGIN subscribers receive access to a database of health information management tools and implementation approaches informed by the experience and input of HIS and IT experts worldwide. The site also offers the potential for IT software developers to receive direct feedback from users about the effectiveness of their tools in meeting the needs and requirements of countries and donors.
