The Global Alliance for Nursing and Midwifery Communities of Practice (GANM) invites nurses, midwives and allied health professionals from around the world to participate in the online Global Discussion Forum on September 11, 2006. The topic for discussion is strengthening the role of nurses and midwives with effective leadership and appropriate policies and regulations. The forum will focus on ensuring that nurses and midwives are actively involved and integrated into the policy and decision making process at all levels.

The forum will be launched by Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussain of Jordan and His Excellency Dr. S. Darwazeh Minister of Health, Jordan, through a seven country video conference involving nursing and midwifery leaders from around the World.
