ICM Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2012
[VIETNAM] The International Confederation of Midwives will be holding a regional conference themed, "For the Health of Women and Children - Let's Take Action" on July 24 - 25 in Hanoi. The theme focuses on the improvement of the health of women, infants and their families. The conference will focus on important midwifery issues related to reproductive health and especially safe motherhood.
The program will include sessions such as: collaboration, challenge and courage; midwifery in Vietnam; maternal and newborn health; global standards for midwifery competencies, education, and regulation; innovation in midwifery education in Papua New Guinea; and strengthening midwifery associations.
