Global Health Metrics and Evaluation Conference: Controversies, Innovation, Accountability

The Global Health Metrics & Evaluation (GHME) conference aims to bring together all the different disciplines involved in global health measurement and evaluation under one roof to share innovative tools and methods to get a better understanding of what the possibilities are in approaching population health measurement.

The conference will address the latest measurement controversies debated by the researchers involved; how data were transformed into effective policy for improved population health by policymakers; and cutting edge tools to highlight data, such as mapping tools and data visualizations by the people who created them. GHME will be held March 14-16, 2011 in Seattle, Washington. [adapted from conference website]
