XXII International Conference of the European Federation for Medical Informatics


 

The XXII International Conference of the European Federation for Medical Informatics will be held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, August 30 through September 2, 2009.

The Medical Informatics Europe (MIE) 2009 Conference is the main scientific event in medical, biomedical, and health informatics and is held in Europe two out of three years. Scientific presentations are offered from over 40 countries and from all continents.

The central theme for MIE 2009 is Medical Informatics in a United and Healthy Europe, emphasizing the need for new medical, biomedical and health informatics bridges to be built between the western and eastern segments of Europe. A panel of high-level scientists and health care managers will be invited to participate and give keynote speeches, tutorials, and organize in-depth workshop discussions for this purpose.
