Nigerian National Health Conference 2009
The second Nigerian National Health Conference (NHC2009), "Primary Health Care in Nigeria - 30 Years after Alma Ata," will be held June 8-10, 2009 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
NHC2009 seeks to support the critical focus on human development, and will provide a forum for interaction between stakeholders in the Nigerian health sector. The conference goal is to ensure better health and human development for Nigerians, increasing the country's chances of achieving the health-related Millennium Development Goals.
