Health Professionals Training Program Offered by Infectious Diseases Institute
The Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) based at Makerere University in Uganda currently offers a training program for health professionals. The program covers training in the areas of HIV/AIDS, malaria, pharmacy, laboratory and data management. In collaboration with the Academic Alliance Foundation, IDI utilizes PEPFAR funds to provide HIV/AIDS training to staff from military hospitals across Africa.
Scholarship assistance from the IDI Scholarship Fund is available for all candidates who apply to the courses as individual health workers.
