International Confederation of Midwives 29th Triennial Congress


 

ICM's 29th Triennial Congress is aimed at strengthening midwifery at national, local and community levels with a program designed for midwives from all backgrounds and experiences. The overarching theme addresses the 'Big 5' challenges for midwives globally but there will be a separate but related theme for each of the four professional days. The daily topics are: globalisation, listening to women and their partners, enhancing the continuum of care to families, enabling and strenthening midwives and midwfery practice,cultures, and societies and traditions.
