Promising HRH Practices: Valuable Resources at the Country Level

The Capacity Project will be holding a presentation and discussion on four innovative HRH promising practices from Ghana, Uganda, Malawi and Namibia on July 31 in Washington DC. The promising practices address such key issues as task shifting, improving retention of health workers, and increasing recruitment and deployment rapidly. The presentation will include a synthesis of learning from the case studies, share replication guidelines for two of the practices, and stimulate a discussion of possible ways to more widely disseminate and promote the use of these resources to HRH leaders and practitioners at the country level. The session will conclude with a short discussion on how to expand the resource base of promising HRH practices.

The program will be held July 31 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the National Press Club Holeman Lounge, 539 14th st NW in Washington DC. Lunch will be served, so space for the event is limited. Please contact Josh Davis to reserve a place.
